At MadhuRupRat Academy , we are proud to carry forward the rich legacy of the Maihar Gharana, a tradition that has shaped the landscape of Indian classical music. Founded by the legendary Ustad Allauddin Khan, this gharana is renowned for its fusion of traditional Hindustani music with groundbreaking innovations. With its intricate rhythms, melodic brilliance, and emphasis on improvisation, the Maihar Gharana continues to inspire musicians worldwide.

Bansuri Parampara Festival
Bansuri Parampara is a prestigious annual flute festival organized by Pt. Rupak Kulkarni, a renowned bansuri virtuoso and disciple of the legendary Padma Vibhushan Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia. The event is a heartfelt tribute to the guru-shishya parampara (teacher-student tradition) and serves as a platform to celebrate the rich legacy of the Maihar Gharana and the evolving tradition of Hindustani classical music on the bansuri (Indian bamboo flute).
